Maharah Coding School (2023-2024)

Maharah Coding Academy is the first training camp for the Maharah Initiative, which started with registration in December 2023 and concluded in March 2024. The training program was held in 3 Libyan cities covering the west, east, and south of Libya, namely: Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sabha, with two groups (paths) for each city: the full-stack web development path and the mobile app development path. The program targeted those interested in coding in the three cities, aged 18 to 30, and saw the graduation of 127 selected trainees.

At the end of the program, a job fair was held across the three cities, resulting in approximately 70% of graduates being employed in relevant fields.

Program Details

The program includes two courses:

Full-Stack Development Course
Mobile Applications Development Course

Each course will last for 4 weeks, with the program spanning across January and February 2024. The program will be conducted in three main cities: Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sabha.

Attendance and
Format

This is an in-person program where physical attendance throughout the program duration is mandatory. Trainees engage with practical, hands-on projects and learn from experienced industry professionals.

The residency in these cities is not mandatory for application or selection, provided that the applicant is capable and committed to attending in person.
