Job Fair Concludes the Journey of Maharah Coding School!
A remarkable journey filled with moments of success, showcasing the excellence of Maharah Coding School graduates, has finally reached its conclusion with the “Job Fair” events held throughout April in Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sabha.
Job Fair Events
Our primary objective through these events was to connect Maharah graduates with companies of various sizes and from both public and private sectors in Libya. We strive through this initiative to contribute to their support and launch their careers within the framework of our commitment in the Maharah project to enhance the capabilities and skills of Libyan youth in the world of technology.
The city of Sabha kicked off the “Job Fair” events on April 20th at Eylyes Workspace, followed by Benghazi on April 25th after a one-day postponement due to weather conditions that necessitated a holiday for most of the city's institutions and workplaces, including the event location, the “Libyan International University.” The capital, Tripoli, hosted the event at the Corinthia Hotel on April 28th.
It was a source of immense pride and satisfaction to witness the tremendous progress made by the graduates and see them conduct professional interviews with the companies. The three events achieved a resounding success. Here are the details by the numbers:
Sabha:
- 9 companies
- 17 graduates
- 80 interviews
Benghazi:
- 12 companies
- 25 graduates
Tripoli:
- 15 companies
- 28 graduates
- 201 interviews
In addition to the numbers mentioned, we worked throughout the period preceding the event by sharing the CVs of a number of graduates wishing to be employed with a number of companies before the Job Fair event. This effort has already resulted in the recruitment of a significant number of graduates prior to the event, who we supported by helping them write and improve their CVs before sharing them.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the companies that cooperated with us during the “Job Fair” events. We also wish more success to our dear graduates who have proven their worth and abilities.
Remember, dear graduates, that this is just the beginning! The future is yours, and we hope it will be filled with more professional achievements that contribute to your personal and societal development.
