The Maharah Coding School is an educational initiative to equip young people in Libya with coding and technological expertise. developed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and financially supported by the European Union (EU). It aims to support the youth with technical skills in coding and as instruments of social and economic development. By offering a curriculum that addresses challenges like market entry and regulatory navigation, it's a catalyst for sustainable peace and development. This approach prepares a new generation of young Libyans to be peace innovators, contributing to a stable, prosperous future in Libya.

It is the first training camp for Maharah Coding School, which started with registration in December 2023 and concluded in March 2024. The training program was held in 3 Libyan cities covering the west, east and south of Libya, namely: Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sabha, with two groups (paths) for each city: the fullstack web development path and the mobile app development path.
The program targeted those interested in coding from the ages of 18 to 30 in the three cities, and witnessed the graduation of a total of 127 selected trainees.

Yes. After successfully completing the training program at Maharah, each trainee receives a certificate accredited by the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions.
